I completely agree; leave Tiger Woods alone. You might disagree with me, but hear me out ..
What he is going through with his family is a personal thing. Which is his first priority.
But, having said that, he also has an obligation to his supporters. As a professional sportsman he is also a personality; a personality who is successful from both his athletic ability and the community that follows him.
So please dude, although I am not an avid Golfing fan, please tell us (when you are ready) what went down and how you are working towards a resolution.
There are people out there who look up to you.
This is an opportunity.

Yep, I feel that.
While I agree wholeheartedly it’s none of our business, the fact that he was such a cad – cheat with one woman is bad, multiple women? please…. – belies any thought that he gave a damn about his family to begin with.
they that’s a bit much, perhaps he was screaming to be caught
Screaming to be caught?
So when he evidentially told his g/f
‘I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you. So if you can, please take your name off that. Just have it as a number on the voicemail’
that was a cry for help?
well, good that he was caught.
not saying the damage was not terrible but what would it have been in 2/3 years time
to his family, not him, he has almost forfeited his right in this situation, if anything he should put golf aside for at least a year to make right with his family – if they would have him back.
but then again no one is perfect enough to throw judgement.
new movie coming out detailing that night.
Crouching Tiger. Hittin’. Draggin’.
i’m not sure how i feel about it. i’ve never been a huge fan of tiger’s which is weird b/c i love excellence… i usually root for the MJs, Peytons, etc… of the sport’s world. there’s always something about tiger that’s held me away. i root for him on the golf course, but he’s always bugged the crap out of me. he always seemed soul-less to me, and, now, maybe i’m starting to figure out why.
as far as charlie’s comments? i don’t know about all that, either. it seems like there’s tons of love for tiger, or in charlie’s case, tons of (sanctimonious) hate. i’m in between. i see a man, who, like many of us, is flawed.
one thing’s for sure. tiger LIKE the pooswah. catch a tiger by the tail? no. more like catch a tiger chasing tail.
interesting take. thanks for writing it… jco
“i’m in between. i see a man, who, like many of us, is flawed. ”
