Eczema Cures

10 Dec

MedicineFrom volcano mud to steroids,
from old wives tales to professional opinions,
I guess you have hear them all.
And the causes;
from house dust mites to grass,
from wheat to milk,
you’ve heard that as well.
They’ll grow out of it,
Makes you want to tear your hair out right?
What has worked for you?

For me (so I can’t say it is the same for Stephen): To high ratio of protein to other stuff in my diet caused it, and UV light (prescribed by a MD) cured it.

High protein, interesting. What do you avoid, if I may ask?
Summer is here and UV is being used. Point of fact – Stephen’s Eczema is worse in Winter.

But, actually, Dust Mites are the cause.

so the biggest cure here will most likely come from burning carpets and using Anti-Dust mite spray.

It was not so much avoiding things but rather cutting down on general protein intake. Honestly I had been on one of those low carb (and therefor high protein) diets.

Our son had a bad case of it early on and we tried everything before turning to steroids. It took some time, but it finally worked.

That encouraging that it finally worked. We are also using Steroids.

Thankfully- we only have to deal with dry skin. Good Luck with it! -Jason
