In less than two months Stephen’s sister will be born. We keep mentioning this fact to Stephen as often as possible so that he can understand the situation a little bit better when it happens. A bit difficult for a 2 and a half year old to understand.
However Stephen refers to babygibb and if you ask him what she will do when she arrives he will say “Wahhhhhhhhhh”.
lol
yes she will cry a lot (hopefully not too much)
Once she gets here he should have a better understanding.
My 4YO daughter has 3 little siblings now. After my daughter was born 2 months ago, all she talks about is who came from whose belly.
Good luck! When Eli came to us, it tipped the scales in our house for sure. It’s been about 6 months and we’re still adjusting.

less than 2 months to go. whoooah
I was 5 when my brother showed up and I tried to send him back
ha ha ha ha
This was a concern of ours. More so when our 3rd child was born. There is a 7-year gap between the first and second child. But only a 3-year gap between the 2nd and 3rd. I decided to take a humorous approach to the 2nd and 3rd child dynamics. Here is what I had to say on the subject.

WOW, congrats to your family….we are just starting (considering) the process once again, for adding to ours.
Best Wishes and Happy FF Friday!
Cheers!
thanks ๐
When our second was born our first was only 20 months and though we talked about the process I don’t think he figured it out. Now at 3 and half he is on it with our friend who is pregnant. He tells us that soon they will have an Henry too! That’s his brothers name
We constantly talked to our daughter about her new brother before our second child was born. By the time he arrived, it was as if she had known him for years.
I have 4 “little” brothers and it is I who have been crying all these years…
Good luck!!!

yeah, we try that. And we try to make a fuss with Stephen when we buy stuff for his soon to be sister. I think someone said it was a good idea to buy your child a gift to celebrate the birth of their brother/sister – think we’ll do that.
